Penchant for Paper

My younger sister and I each bought ourselves similar Paperblank journals not long ago. I have a bad habit of buying new journals even when I already have tons of them at home. Technically, you only need one journal every year but I always end up using one for up till only a month or two because I tend to always find cooler journals to replace the old one with. This whole “out with the old in with the new” paper concept is definitely genetic because my whole family has the same habit.
I love the design on this Paperblank journal of mine because of its compactness and how it gives off the exquisite look of antique leather. And anyway, one of my resolutions for the year is not to keep a journal, but to stick to it throughout the year.
If you are looking for a new journal, sketchbook or simply just a notebook to start off the new year, here are some shops you can check out that offer really cool handicrafts…
- Moleskin
- Revolver Bound Books
- Notepod
- Design Cookie
- Fashionary
- Oberon Design
- KnockKnock
PS: Joke of the Day
An elderly widow and widower were dating for about five years. The man finally decided to ask her to marry him.
She immediately said “yes”.
The next morning when he woke up, he couldn’t remember what her answer was!
“Was she happy? I think so, wait, no, she looked at me funny…”
After about an hour of trying to remember to no avail, he got on the telephone and finally gave her a call.
Embarrassed, he admitted that he didn’t remember her answer to the marriage proposal.
“Oh”, she said, “I’m so glad you called. I remembered saying ‘yes’ to someone, but I couldn’t remember who it was.”
