in Hang Zhou/Zu Ji…
One of my best friends Rei came over to Shanghai to meet up with me and we spent most of our time together traveling around Shanghai. We took a 3 hour train-ride to Hang Zhou where she gave me a tour of her company Rudder Fashion and how their clothes were being manufactured.
I was then invited to stay over Rei’s place in Zu Ji for a night. Her family were really hospitable and friendly while I was staying over and I honestly loved everyone to bits! They wanted me to try so much of their local Chinese cuisine for every meal and I was seriously bloated each time I was done eating.
My friend drove me around her hometown in the evening showing me around her beautiful neighborhood while entertaining me with the story of the “Four Great Beauties of China”. She explained how each of these four beauties were from 4 different dynasties and how they were later known as historical figures of Legendary Ancient China. She then further explained how one of these women was from Zu Ji itself…
I feel that the history of China is simply amazing because every single detail is just so in-depth and beautiful!
